Located in Murfreesboro, Arkansas, Crater of Diamonds State Park has become famous for offering visitors the rare opportunity to search for real diamonds.
The park sits on an ancient volcanic crater where diamonds formed naturally millions of years ago.

Since becoming a state park in 1972, tens of thousands of diamonds have been found there, including several stones weighing multiple carats.
