13 Year Old Boy Leads Drive for Free Energy

Technology

Meet Max Loughan; the gifted, young inventor of one of the most coveted scientific artefacts currently known to man. At the tender age of 13, in the basement of his home in Incline Village, Nevada, United States; Max created an ‘electromagnetic harvester’ – a device capable of converting the energy of an object’s electromagnetic field into electricity. The device the is said to have cost a mere $14 to create. All Max claims to have used was the knowledge imparted to him by a few physics books, a coffee can, wires, 2 coils and a spoon.

The beauty of Max’s creation lies in the source. Electromagnetic energy is by far a more viable solution to the global energy crisis than any of the solutions proposed before it. Alternatives to fossil fuels have been in heavy demand since Bill Gates (and partners) announced a billion dollar bounty on clean energy in December 2016. Sources of energy such as solar, wind and nuclear have all come with a relatively high number of complications and considerations. Electromagnetic energy is safe, free, renewable and leaves no carbon footprint; it fulfils all the criteria of a good energy source.

Max Loughan shares the sentiment of his idol Nikola Tesla; that there is enough free energy present in the world to make land destruction and air pollution due to the burning of fossil fuels redundant. His creation has gained him loads of critical acclaim, most notably from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) which has created a statue of him in his honour. Without a doubt, Max has given us one of the most promising innovations of all time. All he asks for in return is our continual support.
